Amanda's passion for kids and the quest for truth began at a young age.  As a former elementary school teacher, she brings her knowledge of how kids learn, and what they need socially and emotionally into our Kids Ministry.  Her heart and vision for our kids and family ministry are to equip parents to disciple their children and welcome inquisitiveness and truth-seeking in our kids.  She loves to hear their thoughts and questions about the Bible, who Jesus is, and what they think heaven is like.  It's truly a joy for her to come alongside our amazing volunteers and build up the body of Christ in young hearts and minds.

Amanda is married to her husband, Jon, who she met in college.  He has supported her unconditionally in all her endeavors.  They have two children, Hannah and Philip, and they love traveling, playing board games, four-wheeling, and cheering on the NC State Wolfpack.  She is an avid reader, loves documentaries, and is often found on weekday evenings in the car chauffeuring and managing her kids' event schedules.
